ADIYAMAN - Cries for help are rising from under the rubble in Adıyaman, one of the cities most damaged by the earthquake. In the city, where no aid has yet arrived, the people are trying to save their relatives with their own means.
 
In Semsûr, one of the provinces most affected by two separate earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 that occurred in Maraş, the people started the day with aftershocks. Despite being the second day of the earthquake, in the city where search and rescue teams did not come, citizens are trying to get their relatives under the rubble by their own means.
 
LATEST SITUATION IN ADIYAMAN
 
In Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, where many buildings have been demolished, the cries of help from those trapped under the rubble are heard. It was stated that there were more than a hundred people in the wreckage of the City Life Site in the neighborhood. Mehmet Özen, one of the survivors, is one of the citizens waiting to be rescued. Özen's daughter, Melahat Özen, talked to her father and tried to give him morale and to keep him unconscious. Trying to make his voice heard from under the rubble, Mehmet Özen stated that a piece of iron was stuck in his leg and asked for help.
 
The voices of Zeki Tunç, who was under the same debris, and 3 more people whose names could not be learned, were heard. While their relatives tried to give morale to those under the rubble, they also tried to remove the wreckage with their own means.
 
The first teams to reach the city so far were the teams from Trabzon belonging to UMKE, while the teams reached the city at around 09.00.
 
PUBLIC CONDEMNED GOVERNMENT
 
Public, who condemned the government because of the lack of search and rescue work, said: "Our bodies are under the rubble. Where is the state? The people are miserable. We cannot take our bodies out." A woman who condemned Erdoğan said: "When Tayyip Erdoğan goes somewhere, 10 thousand policemen go. There is no vote for Tayyip Erdoğan. There is no vote in Adıyaman."
