NEWS CENTER - A Russian plane carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war crashed in the city of Belgorod. It was announced that everyone on the plane died.
 
In Russia, the "Ilyushin Il-76" type military transport plane crashed in the city of Belgorod, near the Ukrainian border. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that there were 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war, six crew members and three other people on the plane to be delivered as part of the prisoner exchange.
 
Belgorod Regional Governor informed that all people on the crashed plane lost their lives. The Russian Foreign Ministry held Ukraine responsible for the plane crash.
 
Russian deputy and retired soldier Andrei Kartapolov claimed that the military transport plane that crashed in the south of the country was targeted with three missiles. The deputy, who did not disclose the source of his claims, claimed that the plane was shot down by missiles of the type that the West supplied to Ukraine.
